Catherine Thompson – Sleep Consultant
Catherine (Cat) Thompson is a local Baby and Toddler Sleep Consultant with over 20 years’ experience working with the early years, both in health and educational roles.
Previously a Children’s Nurse with extensive experience working in the Early Childhood Sector, it became clear that one of the biggest challenges any parent confronts is sleep!
The profound impact of sleep deprivation on maternal mental health is apparent, demonstrating the need for early access to education. As a holistic practitioner, it seems only natural to be part of a multidisciplinary team collaborating to support mothers, infants/toddlers and their families to ensure they get personalised health care they deserve. So many factors influence sleep and there is no one size fits
all, as each baby and parent are unique! Cat is incredibly passionate about helping families to provide the best possible support and care for their children and can relate to the pressures and stress
associated with this.
